The Bauhn wireless keyboard worked before I moved the PC, now doesn't. Made no hardware or software changes today. It sat on a shelf then I put it on the new desk. In some cases the receiver signal gets blocked by. If your receiver is in the back of your computer, it may help to relocate the receiver to a front port. It appears that keyboards are supported by some keyboard software in LMDE. It appears the USB hardware and the LMDE USB software is working as evidenced by the USB wired keyboard and the USB wireless mice. I bought a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, however am unable to use the keyboard with my Inspiron 570 The mouse works perfectly well, however only the hot keys work on the keyboard I have tried using it with a Compaq laptop and both keyboard and mouse work perfectly. An old Logitech wired keyboard connected to the keyboard port rather than to USB also works fine. However an old Dell USB wired keyboard does work. A Logitech M210 mouse on the same USB dongle as the Logitech K260 keyboard works fine.
A Bauhn brand mouse on the same Bauhn USB dongle works fine. A Bauhn brand keyboard (own USB dongle), a Logitech K260 keyboard (own USB dongle), and a Logitech MK250 keyboard (own USB dongle) are not recognised by the PC : no matter what I type, nothing happens.
